Ausable Conservation Authority has been doing ongoing studies of the Old Ausable Channel this summer. They are holding a Public meeting to provide information to the community.

The By-law change was passed at Council last night conveying Huron Place back to BOP as a private road. The document related to this is Cl Report 83-2012 and can be viewed on the Lambton Shores Website and view Agenda for September 4. It is page 341 of the PDF document.
Please note the Agenda for this meeting will take time to load as there were a number of other items discussed.
I am expecting our legal Counsel to be contacting me shortly for the authorization documentation to act on member’s behalf to add the pedestrian access to titles.

Wild turkeys are being seen throughout Huron Woods. One of our neighbours has asked that information be posted that will be of value to our members.
The Article Living with Wild Turkeys provided on the MNR website gives some background information as well as different methods to deal with situations that may arise with our large feathered friends.
