Mary Beth and Peter Davies have taken on the responsibility of garbage and recycling pick-up at Access #5. They took on this task after consulting with Maurice Mailhot to confirm that he was no longer responsible.
Kudos – to participating Neighbours.
I wanted to advise the members of HWCA that the Sewage Adhoc Committee had its inaugural meeting Monday at 5:00pm (June 27/2011) at the Grand Bend Public School.
Carl Belke from Southcott Pines was elected as Chair and Richard Faber from Huron Woods as ViceChair (vice position will need approval from council).
The next meeting will be July 11th from 7:30-9:30 pm with a new meeting location to be announced. These meetings are open to the public and we welcome community residents to attend, as this is an advisory committee to the Municipality of LambtonShores Council on the extension of waste water services to Zones 3 and 4.
This is a reminder that the Special Information Meeting re the Huron Place Conveyance and the Huron Woods Community Association AGM is being held tonight beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Location: Grand Bend Public School Gymnasium Gill Rd
HWCA will not be able to host a social function this year. Nevertheless, The Board of Directors would like to invite you to join us after the meeting at Oakwood.

Dear Mardelle, Lynda and all members of the Huron Woods Ladies,
Thank you so much AGAIN for your generous donations of clothing, toys and household items. The women thoroughly enjoyed looking through these things and the items quickly had homes. To a woman on a limited income establishing a newer safer residence, these donated items are truly a gift.
Thank you for your continued support.
